Building coaches' capacity by tapping into our own resources

Good news for USCA!
Coach Max Kanyerezi ably represented Uganda and USCA in the ASCA clinic held in Dar es salam in February this year.  Max who was sponsored by his school to attend the course, made a powerful presentation to the more than 65 coaches from 5 countries who attended the course. Mr. John Leornad of ASCA and WSCA facilitated the course.

Coach Max Kanerezi has been certified as a member of World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) and will now enjoy the full benefits of WSCA membership.

He, and USCA President, Muzafaru Muwanguzi, who has just returned from Leipzig University in Germany, after a six months scholarship for a swimming diploma course, have accepted to partner in presenting a workshop for coaches in the near future. Coaches will be invited by email.

We are confident that these two coaches will generate greater enthusiasm among the members of the coaching community to further their skills and keep the momentum of building and supporting the sport.
